It's kind of crazy busy in my neck of the woods, but I thought you all might enjoy this colorful and fun engagement shoot with Mallory and Ben. 

These two are high school sweethearts from the Dayton, Ohio area and now reside in Chicago...just like me.  :)

Mallory even attended The Ohio State University.  O-H-I-O.  *Sigh* So nice to hang out with people from back home, although I wouldn't trade Chicago for anything. 

Isn't Mallory and Ben's dog the sweetest and prettiest four-legged gal around?  Love her!

Navy Pier Engagement Portrait: Regina + John

Regina and John have been spending quite some time in Chicago due to his Navy training.  They wanted to commemorate both their recent engagement and Chicago memories, so holding the photo shoot at Navy Pier made perfect sense. Thankfully, the weather gods were kind to us and the rain held off until we were finished. Can you imagine their white clothes in rain?  Whew!  We were very lucky.

I have to be honest when I say that there were a couple moments during the session where I held my breath due to their incredible chemistry.  Wowzas.  :)

Go ahead and see these sparks for yourself-and Regina's awesome red shoes.  Enjoy the romance!

Rainy Day Engagement Portrait: Kelly + Lee

Kelly and Lee sizzled with chemistry despite the rainy day for their engagement session. They gave me a little hard time since I'm an Ohio State Buckeye and Kelly attended Wisconsin while Lee attended Purdue.  Hey, I'm married to a U of Michigan grad, so I can support Big Ten attendees (but not their football teams if they are playing against my dearly beloved Buckeyes).  :)

I had such a ball during this photo shoot.  You'll quickly see why.
