I had such a blast photographing lil' James again for his 1st birthday. Not only did I get to roll around on the grass with him, but I also jumped into the water fountain with him as well.  What a cutie! I especially love his little teeth.

Thanks for these Laurie. We absolutely love them. It's diffucult photographing a spunky 1 year old, but you hit the nail on the head.

Photographing the Kawashima family is always pure joy. Their oldest daughter, who is now 2 years old, and I share a deep abiding love for the Sound of Music, especially the song "So Long, Farewell." The little toddler can do the whole scene where she sings and slides up the stairs then goes to sleep.  ADORABLE! Below are a couple photos of her doing this.

Her twin sisters are equally adorable and I can't wait to see what songs they'll sing in two years.

I had difficulty in choosing which photos are my faves. These kids are just that stinkin' cute!  So I am also including a long slideshow at the end so you can also see what a full family portrait session looks like. By the way, I love the more photojournalistic family shots per the Kawashima's request.  Priceless.

Enjoy this family session, which totally rates gazillion in cuteness factor.

You can see the slideshow here.

What a great session. I'd say you knocked it out of the park. I love the vertical shot midway through with the dad laying on the floor and the mom on the couch feeding the one twin. It's such an every day life moment.

Wow - they have their hands full for sure. Always wonder what its like to hear "you have twins" from the doctor. nice job wrangling them altogether.

AKA "Aunt and the Godfather"

"Dé a su tía un beso," my brother-in-law told his infant daughter, Luzia.

"Give your aunt a kiss?" I mentally translated while in shock. It was the first time I'd ever been called tía, Spanish for aunt.

As you'll soon see, I'm one lucky aunt. Luzia is beautiful, and I was thrilled to see her baptized on our recent trip to Panama-my husband's home country.

My husband was also thrilled and honored to serve as her godfather or padrino.

I loved watching him dote on her.
