Katie and Brian are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. So it was little surprise that their families and friends are one word: AWESOME.

They braved the cold to huddle for photos and danced like rockstars to the Al Sofia Orchestra.  They made me and my second photographer, Maggie Rife, feel very welcome.

It says a lot when we didn't want to leave at the end of the night after a long day of shooting.

Congrats on your marriage and thank you for allowing us to document such a lovely and fun occasion.

Laurie, you just ROCKED this wedding! The way you see light, overall, is amazing. But the shot that rocked my socks off was definitely the one of the man holding and kissing the little girl with the woman smiling on...a photo that I imagine will be cherished by them. All of them stunning. Fabulous work!

Rachel and Arthur have the sweetest story of how they fell in love. Competitors in sales, they quickly became friends where Arthur would give Rachel love advice. Eventually they began dating.  Arthur was the perfect gentleman and lavished Rachel with attention, except for one thing; Rachel had to make the move for the first kiss.

As you can see from these photos, those beginning dates were a sweet prelude to a long marriage.

Congrats!!!

I'm about the bring on the lovey-dovey cheese, y'all, but this IS a wedding photography site, so it's to be expected, right?

Anyhoo.

Stephanie and Dan is in the running for having the best wedding song with Pink's Glitter in the Air.

This song, especially the Grammy's version, is so breathtakingly beautiful and so perfect to start off a couple's marriage, especially one with two people as lovely as Stephanie and Dan.

Have you ever wished for an endless night?
Lassoed the moon and the stars and pulled that rope tight
Have you ever held your breath and asked yourself
Will it ever get better than tonight? Tonight.

In spite of threats of rain, everything went off without a hitch thanks to Stephanie's fantastic planning.  I especially love the hand-embroidered handkerchiefs Stephanie made for Dan. Such personal touches take a wedding to a higher level of awesomeness.

Stephanie and Dan, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a sweet, sweet day.
