Sonia and Dario's wedding was laid-back, meaningful and beautiful - much like Sonia and Dario are. I'm completely in love with Sonia's childhood church, St. Alphonsus. It is such a gorgeous cathedral. I also had a piece of their cake, which was the best I've ever had. Almond flavored with chocolate chips then brushed with apricot filling and buttercream frosting with chocolate ganache. OMG!!!
There's something about Sonia and Dario's relationship that moves me. They've been together for a long time and initially thought that marriage wasn't for them. But just like my own husband, they finally got to that place where they knew it was right. During the ceremony, Dario brimmed with emotion during his vows. Let me tell ya, there wasn't a dry eye in the church as he spoke through tears.
