Rachel and Billy braved chilly winds (What? Chicago?) for their engagement session, which started off in my neck of the woods near Andersonville. I just love engagement sessions, because they allow me to get to know a couple before their wedding while at the same time easing their photography worries before their wedding.
Rachel and Billy are so easy to like and it's easy to see they are very much in love. Rachel, who visits my blog regularly, was game for any location during the shoot and never complained about the wind. Of course, she had Billy to snuggle against for warmth.
Rachel and Billy, I'm really looking forward to your wedding next year. Thanks for hiring me!

I love, love. love that wall at the Foster underpass. I've never taken a photo of it but so many times have thought it would make such a good backdrop. And clearly it has. Beautiful photos!
