If tears are a measure of how much Soojin and Ray love and are loved, then their wedding is a testament to a truly adored couple. The raw emotion throughout the day was beautiful to see.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when Soojin, who is Korean, and Ray, who is Fillipino, brought out their cell phone so each could speak the native tongue of their new families-in-law.  While I couldn't understand anything that was said, it appeared their efforts to speak each other's languages were a hit.

Another favorite moment of mine occurred when Soojin wiped away her maid of honor's tears during her speech. So sweet and a true testament to their strength of friendship.

Oh, and I am now a firm believer in communal milkshakes, especially among bridesmaids and bride. :)

Thank you, Soojin and Ray, for allowing me to be part of such a lovely day.

(Btw, jumping shot was specifically requested by groom. :)  )

Laurie, both your complete and total fabulosity in photo taking and your ability to attract couples that are completely fabulous just make me want to meet you that much more!

PS. I adore that Soojin got married with short hair. She's rocking it, and rocking that dress.

I CANNOT wait for Michele and Jeremiah's destination wedding in Mexico next year.  Michele is easy to laugh and Jeremiah's dry humor is hilarious. I know I will have a blast.

By the way, Michele and Jeremiah were referred to me by Sarah, who was referred to me by Kara. All three girls are book club buddies. Yay to fellow book lovers...or at least those who like to hang out and gab. :)  It's kind of cool to think their book discussions probably began on topics about the men they were dating to then getting engaged and next wedding plans. I can't wait to see what books they'll choose to match their future stages of life.

But back to Michele and Jeremiah's engagement session, which is really about reveling in the fantastic present and chemistry they have together.

When I photographed Rachel and Billy's engagement session last November, I was excited for their wedding, because they have such a natural chemistry between them.

Not only was their chemistry free-flowing during the wedding, but the ceremony light was heavenly.

And the kids...oh the kids were so extraordinary. They really hammed it up for me.

One of my favorite details of the day in addition to the kids' smiles was Rachel's hair. She was a stunnahhhh! I want hair like that! The spiderman ring shot and the hot dog toppers reflect Billy's obsessions.

Rachel and Billy, congrats on your beautiful wedding, and may your future life together be as lovely!
